Consolidated Metco, a Vancouver, Wash.-based manufacturer of lightweight aluminum components, will make Stemco's Endeavor seal standard on ConMet PreSet hubs for trailers
, effective immediately.
A hub-installed unitized seal, Endeavor is built with a high temperature sealing element with a four-zone labyrinth active contamination exclusion system. According to Stemco, this element improves the sealing performance.
"ConMet and Stemco are both singularly focused on the commercial vehicle wheel end market," said Mark Wagner, general manager of ConMet's wheel end division.
Stemco, an EnPro Industries company based in Longview, Texas, will supply Endeavor seals to ConMet for their trailer PreSet hubs.
