The California Air Resources Board's new training seminar is a 30-minute overview of the board's existing regulations that apply to diesel vehicle owners.

The course will cover traditional diesel programs, including periodic smoke inspection/heavy-duty vehicle inspection, idling, and engine emissions control labels. The seminar will also provide information on regulations governing trucks and buses, drayage trucks, heavy-duty vehicle greenhouse gas reduction, transport refrigeration units and in-use off-road diesel vehicles. The board will also provide diesel emission control strategies and information on funding opportunities.

CARB's seminars are available at many locations throughout California, and some are viewable online. Classes are being held between now and November 2009. For more information, click here.
