SMC3 has announced the agenda and speaker line-up for its educational and networking conference, "2010 Jump Start: Supply Chain's Look Ahead," Jan. 19-20 in Atlanta.

SMC3 has built its 2010 Winter Conference to give participants an all-encompassing view of the economic, political and general business issues that could impact them in the coming year, as well as practical solutions for dealing with these issues.

"The commitment made by each of these association executives to actively participate in the SMC3 2010 Winter Conference shows the importance they've placed upon collaboration and information sharing within the supply chain," said Jack Middleton, SMC3 president and CEO. "Those who attend the conference will benefit from their collective wealth of industry knowledge and connectivity."

Some of the topics to be covered on the agenda include a "Washington view," presented by G. Tommy Hodges, incoming chairman of the American Trucking Associations; "Dimensional Technology and Pricing;" and "Indices as a Forecasting Tool."

In addition, a panel of association executives will discuss their views and positions on the key issues facing the transportation industry.

SMC3 is a transportation industry association representing motor carriers, shippers and logistics service providers, especially in the less-than-truckload sector.
