Grote Industries Names Dominic Grote President

Dominic Grote has been appointed president and chief operating officer of family-owned Grote Industries, replacing Eric Morris, who has stepped down.

Morris will move into a new position as director of accessory markets for the Madison, Ind.-based supplier of lighting, wiring, mirrors and other vehicle safety products.

"Eric has been an exemplary leader since taking his post," Grote said. "He worked tirelessly to grow our business both domestically and internationally."

Grote moves up from his recent position as vice president of sales and marketing. His plans for the company in his new position include expanding globally, rolling out new LED technologies and improving Grote's relationships with customers.

"Just like many of the distributors, fleets and OEMs Grote Industries serves, we're a family-owned business," Grote said.

"Continuity and intelligent succession planning have been keys to our long-term success as a closely-held business," said Grote Industries' chairman and CEO, William D. Grote III.
