Pilot has opened a new travel center in Rotterdam, N.Y., off of Interstate 88.

The new 11,000-square-foot truckstop features four fuel islands and five diesel islands, as well as restaurants and other convenience items. Travelers will find a Subway, Dunkin Donuts, fax and copy services, Western Union, an ATM, lottery machines, a deli and an expanded grill area serving Oscar Mayer hot dogs.

"We believe our familiar Pilot sign will be a welcome sight for interstate travelers and professional drivers," said Anne Vandenburg, general manager for the Rotterdam location. "They'll want to pull off to fill up, refresh and sample some of our featured food items."

Commercial drivers will also have access to a CAT scale and four showers. The travel center is located at 1128 Duanesburg Road.
