Karmak will hold its 2009 Karmak Technology Conference and Expo Oct. 20-23 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark Hotel in St. Louis, Mo.

Under the theme "Driving Your Business Forward," the conference will introduce new technologies to dealers, distributors, service shops and leasing companies. The goal is to help improve profit margins, increase infrastructure, manage costs and find new revenue streams.

Karmak will be providing hands-on demonstrations of its latest technologies, including those designed to improve parts market share using the Web as well as electronically schedule tools, bays, technicians, customers, and trucks with fully integrated repair orders. Other demonstrations include software to help boost service sales by tracking preventive maintenance, deferred repairs and mobile repairs. Attendees will also get ideas for how to expand warehouse control with wireless picking and conserve time and money by e-mailing invoices and statements to customers.

The schedule of events also includes roundtable discussions and one-on-one help desk
appointments. Bill Healy, president and CEO of Karmak, will give a presentation on the
company's strategic plans for customers. Attendees can also meet with manufacturer
representatives, Karmak staff and other industry leaders.
