Isuzu Commercial Truck of America celebrated the 25th anniversary of Isuzu trucks in the U.S. market with a ceremony at the American Truck Dealers convention last month.

The first Isuzu truck, a KS-22, arrived in America in March 1984 with a retail price of $9,995. Still operational, the truck has been restored for display purposes.

Of the 400,000 Isuzu-built diesel trucks sold in North America since their first arrival, more than 83 percent are still registered and in service today.

Isuzu low cab forward trucks are distributed through 205 Isuzu truck dealers and 350 GM W-Series dealers nationwide. Isuzu holds more than 70 percent market share of the total LCF market.
