Rick Linville of Midwest Truck Auto Parts in Chicago is one of four new members inducted into the Overseas Automotive Council's Quarter Century Club, which honors members on the 25th anniversary of their enrollment.


Founded in 1946, Midwest began as a military surplus parts supplier. In the past 50 years, the company's product line has grown to include heavy-, medium-, light-duty and performance drivetrain components and assemblies.

The other inductees are:
• Gabriel Quintero, Quinteros Ltda, Bogota, Colombia
• F. Carl Smith, F. C. Smith Associates, LLC, Grand Haven, Mich.
• Chung Ying Lin, C. Y. Lin Trading, Company, San Mateo, Calif.

"The AASA Overseas Automotive Council is proud to recognize these members for there contributions and support not only to their individual companies, the Council and to the global automotive aftermarket industry," said Anthony Cardez, OAC executive director.

Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) is the international aftermarket council of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association. The Council promotes the sale in foreign markets of automotive and heavy-duty products manufactured in North America.
