LKQ Corporation, Chicago, has purchased two heavy-duty truck recycled parts businesses.

It acquired of the assets of Automotive Rebuilders Supply Co. in metro Chicago, which realized revenue of approximately $9.5 million on a trailing 12-month basis.

It also has acquired the assets of Goody's Truck Parts in Toledo, Ohio. Goody's generated annual revenue, on a trailing 12-month basis, of approximately $10 million.

"The acquisition of a heavy-duty truck recycled parts operation in Toledo, Ohio, adds a key distribution point to LKQ's growing network of heavy-duty truck recycled parts locations," said Joe Holsten, president and CEO of LKQ.

Earlier this year, in March, the company also acquired Texas Best Diesel, a heavy-duty truck recycled parts business in Houston.

LKQ is the largest nationwide provider of aftermarket collision replacement products, recycled OEM products and refurbished OEM collision replacement products such as wheels, bumper covers and lights to repair light vehicles. It is also a leading distributor of paint and body shop supplies.

Both LKQ purchases were funded through cash on hand.
