For the second consecutive show Bill Morgan out of Willis, Mich., took home Best-of-Show Non-Working. This 1999 Kenworth T800 is done in a Wild West theme.
Best-of-Show Working Bobtail was awarded to a 1996 W900L Kenworth, owned by Roddy's Trucks and driven by Warren Nyland from Martin, Mich. Nicknamed "Shovelhead," this heavy hauler tri-axle tractor features flames and abundant chrome and lights.
Jerry Kissinger from Stoughton, Wis., won Best-of-Show Working Combination. His 1991 Mack Super Liner is burnt orange and pulls a Great Dane Reefer with a mural of horses the full length of the trailer.
The third Truck-Lite Trophy series qualifier that will be competing in Louisville, Ky., in 2009 at the Mid-America Truck show was awarded to Warren Nyland from Martin, Mich., and Roddy's Trucks with their 1996 W900L Kenworth.
