The company opened a sales and purchasing office in Shanghai, China, in 2007 to complement its office in Beijing. The office is focused on sourcing parts for worldwide manufacturing and aftermarket sales, as well as the sale of Paccar powertrain components to customers in Asia.
Paccar designs, manufactures and sells light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates. It also provides financial services and information technology and distributes truck parts related to its principal business.
