Con-way Freight, a less-than-truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc., has been honored for its safety record by the Missouri Motor Carriers Association (MMCA). The association recently presented Con-way Freight
with the Fleet Safety Award - City Division at the 60th annual MMCA Safety Awards luncheon in Jefferson City.
"This award underscores the dedication of all Con-way Freight employees to safety, which is one of our core values," said David S. McClimon, president, Con-way Freight. "I commend the drivers whose exemplary safety practices brought us this recognition."
Judges select the winners based on the lowest overall number of accidents on Missouri highways per 1,000,000 miles.
