Tim Partin has acquired Thermo King of Atlanta, Doraville and Greenville from long-time Thermo King dealer principle Bobby Williamson, doubling the number of facilities under his ownership.

Partin, who’s been in the refrigerated transportation industry nearly as long as Williamson, opened his Alabama Thermo King dealership locations in the early 1970s with his father. Today, his two sons are working with him. This expansion adds nearly 60 employees, 14 mobile service trucks and locations in key areas of Georgia and South Carolina.
Thermo King manufactures transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, including trailers, truck bodies, buses, shipboard containers and railway cars. The company operates 10 manufacturing facilities and 17 parts distribution centers worldwide. Sales and service is provided by a global dealer network of 865 independently owned companies in 75 countries.
