Quality Distribution has announced it will install the SkyBitz GLS system within its fleet to improve trailer utilization, monitor trailer idle time and increase security.

Quality said it chose SkyBitz because of the expansive capabilities of the GLS technology, long battery life, simple installation on different trailer types and the durability of the product in harsh environments.
“Over the past two years, we have been evaluating tracking technologies to find a reliable system with functionality that would serve our needs today and in the future,” said Jerry Detter, president and CEO of Quality Distribution. “We chose SkyBitz because we have seen the company grow and demonstrate a clear understanding of our business. Whether it’s adding new features or products to their base technology, they have shown the ability to anticipate customer needs and adapt to market change.”
