The Washington Post reported that telecommunications provider Sprint Corp., which has purchased one-time wireless rival Nextel, plans to concentrate on its wireless business.
According to the Post, Sprint plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Reston, Va., where Nextel is already based. The Post also said Sprint is developing a wireless phone hybrid with built-in Wi-Fi technology, enabling voice-over-internet calls at home and over the wireless network when away from home.
