and purchased additional MobileMax Multi-Mode communications and tracking systems.
Sister companies Zumstein, Inc. and Cheeseman Trucking were users of earlier multi-mode communications and tracking systems from GeoLogic Solutions starting as far back as 1994. Zumstein is a 220-tractor fleet that hauls truckload general commodities freight throughout the 48 contiguous United States and Canada concentrating mainly in the eastern and central states. Cheeseman is a 165-tractor LTL operation that was purchased by Zumstein in 1999.
Last year, the entire Cheeseman Trucking fleet converted to MobileMax units, and all Zumstein vehicles are scheduled to be upgraded within the next month or two. In addition, 30 new trucks that were added to the Zumstein fleet in April will be equipped with MobileMax as well.
