The American Trucking Associations announced Wednesday that Marten Transport Ltd. has rejoined the organization after a four year absence.
Marten Returns to ATA Fold
Marten's new commitment to the ATA comes just a week after Dart Transit joined ATA. Marten and Dart are both major truckload carriers.
“ATA is working on critical industry issues that matter a great deal to our company,” Randy Marten, President of the Mondovi, Wisconsin-based carrier, said. “Ongoing ATA initiatives, impending ‘make or break’ legislative and regulatory issues, and the opportunity to speak with one voice to ensure the future of trucking strongly influenced our decision.”
Marten Transport is a temperature-sensitive truckload specializing in transporting food and other consumer packaged goods. Marten operates terminals in California, Georgia, Indiana, Oregon, and Wisconsin, and employs more than 2,000 people.
