SPI International Transportation, Murietta, Calif., has reached agreement with Tailwind Management Systems Inc.
SPI Offers Management Software to Partners
of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, to distribute the Express version of Tailwind’s Trucking Management System software to carriers who join SPI's freight brokerage agency program.
Steve Rubin, SPI director of sales & marketing indicated that many regional carrier partners are seeking ways to develop alternate revenue streams.
“To help our carrier partners and SPI, we will supply new members with a credit towards a one-user license of Tailwind's Carrier Express version dispatch software for their trucking operations. We looked at many systems and believe Tailwind's to be one of the best choices out there for trucking operations,” Rubin said.
Rubin said SPI believes the program will help carriers to grow their trucking operations as well as manage freight over-capacity by directing excess traffic to their brokerage department through SPI.
SPI International Transportation is a non-asset based brokerage company with offices across the U.S. and Canada. SPI offers its brokerage software free as a value added service to individuals and companies wishing to develop brokerage offices and become part of SPI's network.
