Celadon Takes First Place in Border Crossing Technology Derby

The Indianapolis Star reported Saturday that Indianapolis-based Celadon Trucking Services and its Canadian subsidiary, Celadon Canada, are the first full truckload carriers

to be fully certified participants in the Automated Commercial Environment system created by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The announcement was made by Executive Director Lou Samenfink of the Customs Modernization Office at meetings in Los Angeles, according to the newspaper.
The commercial trade processing system is being developed to enhance border security and expedite border crossing time for cargo.
