A Korean technology company this week introduced a mobile phone handset capable of receiving and displaying broadcast content, much like a small television set.
Cellphone TV is on the Way

LG Electronics, the world's fifth-largest mobile phone maker unveiled the broadcasting handset weighs less than six ounces and works with a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) technology to be commercially launched next year.
Terrestrial DMB will enable seamless video, CD-quality audio and data on the move through mobile gadgets like cellphones or onboard devices.
The new broad phone includes a mega-pixel camera as well as an MP3 player.
Clearly, DMB will be deployed for entertainment and advertising purposes, but business uses are sure to evolve.
