Equipment Search.com and Auctio have signed partnership programs with the Used Truck Assn. providing discounted services to its membership.
Equipment Search.com is an Internet-based marketing system specially designed for transportation equipment dealers. ESC has been bringing buyers and sellers of trucks, trailers and equipment together since 1996. ESC Auctions also has a unique automatic interface with eBay Motors as each item can be easily clicked over to auction on eBay.
Auctio's auction system combines interactive television, the Internet and a touch-tone telephone to link distant buyers and sellers to live private auctions. Auctio combines an auctioning team with BidCatcher's real-time bidding technology and delivers "invitation only" private auctions to participants located anywhere.
These recent additions make six new partnerships inked by the UTA in 2004. Eddie Walker, UTA president, said "one of the goals of the 2004 UTA business plan was to have at least twice the payback to the used truck dealer for the yearly dues they spend to be a member."
