Terion Inc., Plano, Texas, has introduced FleetView 3, its next generation trailer-tracking system.
Terion Debuts FleetView 3

FleetView 3 brings recent digital wireless advancements to its GPS and web-based service.
According to Terion, FleetView 3 uses the CDMA digital wireless network, intelligently switching to available digital networks with analog cellular capability for the widest possible digital coverage.
FleetView 3 offers improved battery performance for unthethered trailers, and supports over-the-air system upgrades. Tracking units can be updated without taking trailers off the road.
“FleetView 3 offers numerous enhancements and improvements gained from the experience of our current customers,” said President and CEO Ken Cranston. “The launch of FleetView 3 will allow Terion to continue to provide our customers with the best technology, deliver the most value, and position Terion for continued market leadership.”
FleetView communicates real-time trailer location and event status when the trailer is tethered or untethered, including an accurate determination of loaded or unloaded status with FleetView’s Cargo Sensor.
