Petro Stopping Centers has created more than 50 new Wi-Fi hot spots at Petro Stopping Centers nationwide.

Provided in a partnership with Truckstop.net, the new 802.11.g service offers professional drivers a fast and efficient way to communicate with family, friends and employers from virtually anywhere on Petro properties.
Drivers can sign up for this new service simply by launching the Internet browser of any PC that is already equipped with a wireless network card from participating Petro locations, then selecting the "Sign up" tab.
Service can be purchased on an hourly, daily, monthly or annual basis and paid for with a credit card or by purchasing a Truckstop.net Pre-Paid card available at Petro Travel Stores.
"We have gone to great lengths to make sure our signal is fast and strong from all parts of our parking lots," said Richard Tisdale, chief information officer for Petro Stopping Centers.
Petro Stopping Centers was founded in 1975 by Jack Cardwell in El Paso, Texas.
