Ceridian Corp., Minneapolis, Minn., announced an agreement to provide a full suite of human resource solutions to New Century Transportation,
a regional and national truckload and load-to-deliver LTL carrier.
New Century, based in Westhampton, N.J., was founded in July 2000 by Harry
Muhlschlegel, who earlier founded Jevic Transportation, which he sold to Yellow Corp. in 1999 for $200 million.
The Ceridian solutions selected by New Century Transportation include Web HR/Payroll, tax service, self-service, unemployment compensation and flexible spending account (FSA) administration.
"We wanted to work with one company that could take on a broad array of our human resource needs and streamline administrative processes," said Carla English, chief administration officer at New Century Transportation. "Ceridian offered an integrated solution along with personalized service.”
Customers have 24/7 access to Ceridian's Web-enabled human resource solutions with industry-standard levels of data security and protection.
