Halbrooks Joins McLeod Software

McLeod Software Corp., Birmingham, Ala, announced that Rick Halbrooks has joined the company as vice president of sales & marketing.

According to the announcement, Halbrooks has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Halbrooks' most recent position was at BancPartners Leasing as sales manager for Danka Office Imaging. His awards include Forbes-McKay Marketing Person of the Year in 1989 and International Sales Manager of the Year for Danka Industries, Inc., in 1993.
A graduate of Auburn University in Alabama, Halbrooks attended graduate school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
McLeod Software is the developer of LoadMaster dispatch and accounting transportation management software. McLeod has developed its own document imaging system, an EDI editor program, a universal mobile communications module, and internet module for trucking companies.
