Findings included in the second quarter Fleet Sentiment Report show a strengthening demand for trucks and trailers for the remainder of 2004.

The report was compiled by CK Marketing and Communications, a heavy-duty industry research and press relations firm located in Columbus, Ohio.
Seventy-seven percent of fleets responding to the Fleet Sentiment questionnaire said they plan to purchase power units in the next six months, while 69% indicated they would purchase trailers during the same time frame.
A total of 28 for-hire, private and utility fleets operating a total of 19,000 power units and 49,000 trailers participated in the 2nd quarter analysis.
