Shell Lubricants has expanded the 2004 schedule of its Rotella Road Show Truck in order to fulfill this year's requests for additional appearances.

The tractor-trailer combination also will feature updated informational displays on synthetic motor oils and coolants.
Originally scheduled to begin its tour in March, the Rotella Road Show truck has already begun its campaign with a January swing through the southwest, with stops in Oklahoma, Dallas and San Antonio. February and March will find the truck making 11 appearances throughout New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California.
Shell has designed the Rotella Road Show truck to educate visitors with information on equipment lubrication, engine protection, preventative maintenance and cooling systems. The vehicle -- a Peterbilt 379 with a Cummins ISX 475-horsepower engine with EGR -- features a six-seat surround sound theater and interactive displays. Appearances will be made at truckstops, truck dealerships, trade shows and retail outlets, including a host of Speedco locations.
"The Rotella Road Show truck has proven to be a valuable source of information for fleets and independent truck operators on the importance of motor oil in the trucking industry," said Chris Guerrero, marketing manager for Shell Rotella products. "It also has proven to be an extremely helpful tool in educating visitors on the unique performance characteristics of the Rotella family of products."
