Noregan Data Link Adapter Kit Debuts

Noregon Systems, Winston-Salem, N.C., has introduced the new Noregon Data Link Adapter kit for heavy-duty truck service applications.

The Data Link Adapter links vehicle components with a Windows-based PC, giving technicians the ability to perform extensive vehicle analysis and diagnostics.
The Data Link Adapter kit includes the adapter itself, a standard IEEE 1284 interface cable, a six-pin and nine-pin Deutsch Y-adapter, an installation guide and an single-use license.
Noregon will sell the Data Link Adapter through Thomas Built Buses to Thomas Built service shops nationwide, and directly to the Freightliner, Sterling and Western Star dealer networks. Data Link Adapter is offered at a special price of $525.00 through Dec 31, 2003. Pricing after that date hasn’t been established. The Data Link Adapter comes with a one-year standard warranty.
