Michelin North America of Greenville, S.C., has announced a three-year agreement with Volvo Trucks North America
in support of the company’s tire engineering and original equipment production needs in North America.
"Michelin continues as an important and valued supplier to Volvo Trucks North America. Michelin will provide technical and marketing expertise to Volvo, in addition to supplying the most trusted tires on the road," said John Rice, chief operating officer, Michelin Americas Truck Tires.
As a result, Volvo customers will be able to specify the Michelin line-haul products for the Volvo VN line of highway tractors. Customers will also be able to take advantage of an enhanced vocational tire offering for the Volvo VHD truck and tractor.
