Integrated Decision Support Corp., Richardson, Texas, announced that McGriff Transportation Inc., Cullman, Ala., has selected Integrated’s Expert Fuel and Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival Alert transportation software.
McGriff Transportation Inc. operates about 200 power units and utilizes Aether’s Mobile Max II satellite/terrestrial communication and tracking system. Expert Fuel is a real-time fuel optimization program providing drivers with guidance on the route to run and the fuel stops to make in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. According to Integrated, users can expect a savings of 4 to 11 cents per gallon per truck, and more when fuel prices are high.
