Satellite tracking and mobile communications provider PeopleNet, Chaska, Minn., announced record growth for the 15th consecutive quarter and the signing of 37 new fleet customers.

The company also signed evaluation agreements with several multi-thousand unit private and for-hire carriers that have been using older, satellite-based technology.
During second quarter 2003, revenues rose 50% over those of the same period the previous year, and major commercial fleet signings included Martin Transportation Systems, based in Michigan; Wooster Motor Ways; Carolina Tank Lines; and Reeves Brothers Trucking.
PeopleNet's flagship product, the g2xT Wireless Fleet System, integrates GPS-based location tracking, two-way voice and data communications, and Internet-based fleet business tools to provide consistent, reliable communication between business owners, dispatchers, drivers and shippers.
