The TripPak Express drop box network is celebrating its first anniversary of pick-up and delivery service in Canada.

It also announced plans to deploy TripPak Scanning at participating truckstop locations from British Columbia to Ontario -- extending the reach of TripPak services and creating more options for 700 North American fleet members. The express pick-up and delivery service is found in 1,500 U.S. truckstops, fleet terminals and distribution centers, providing original document management solutions and truckstop imaging services.
"TripPak has the flexibility Canadian and American fleets want," said Mark A. Cleveland, executive vice president for TMI, parent company for TripPak. "When it comes to time-sensitive document processing, we have a full menu of options, delivering the only 100% solution for terminal, truckstop and centralized scanning services."
Can-Am West Carriers one of Canada's leading providers of truck transportation and logistics services started using TripPak Express in October 2002 for expedited return of original billing records, driver logs and trip records.
"I am pleased to say that TripPak Express has delivered the results we were anticipating," said Fred Zweep, vice president of Can-Am West Carriers, a family owned and operated fleet based in Abbotsford, British Columbia. "Our billings turn around and cash flow has improved tremendously.
"Canadian carriers are taking advantage of our network in the states, while TripPak volume from American fleets doing business in Canada is exploding. The average monthly growth rate is 11%," Cleveland said.
"TripPak Scanning will be available first at the TravelCenters of America location in Woodstock, Ontario and then along major Canadian routes."
TMI has signed exclusive agreements with Irving Oil, Husky and other major independent Canadian truckstops and is deploying TripPak Scanning at Petro and TravelCenter locations nationwide.
TMI says it is a fully integrated truckstop scanning and outsourced infrastructure provider (OIP) for time-sensitive transportation document processing service. The 14-year old company is headquartered in Denver, Colo., with offices in Brentwood, Tenn., and operations in Wilmington, Ohio.
