Iowa 80 Truckstop's famous Walcott Truckers Jamboree continues "Celebrating America's Truckers" today.

"The Jamboree is our way of saying thank you to all of the men and women in trucking that keep us and America in business," says Jack Horan, Iowa 80 Truckstop general manager.
Everyone is welcome to join in Celebrating America's Truckers and enjoy live country bands featuring local favorites - Keep’n Tyme (formerly Big D’s) and Dani Lynn Howe and Band (featuring Danielle Howe, co-host of the WLLR morning show).
Guests can also enjoy Iowa pork chops, more than 180 exhibits, carnival games, Trucker Olympics, Trucker’s Best Friend Pet Contest, a huge antique truck display (more than 150 trucks), the Super Truck Beauty Contest and more. New this year –- a pie-eating contest.
As always, admission and parking are free. Truck Country will give drivers a chance to win a 2003 Harley Davidson Fat Boy. Many other prizes and giveaways will take place throughout the event. Festivities run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
