FreightDATA Software, Newport Beach, Ca., and Ventura Transfer Co. announced a partnership agreement to develop FreightDATA Bulk, a fully integrated bulk transportation software solution.
FreightDATA Bulk will support dispatch, maintenance, driver management, billing, collections, web-based tracing, wireless tracking and imaging among other functions. "Our teams have spent a great deal of time understanding Ventura Transfer’s current and future requirements and will apply this knowledge towards the development of a first class software solution," said Tom Davies, FreightDATA’s chief technology officer. FreightDATA Bulk is expected to be fully installed and functional by the end of the first quarter of 2004. FreightDATA Software provides a suite of integrated applications for the LTL, TL and Intermodal/Drayage communities.
