Quality Carriers, the Tampa-based transportation subsidiary of Quality Distribution LLC, has added Eaton's Trucking Service, Johnstown, N.Y., to its affiliate partner program.

Eaton's Trucking joined the growing ranks of QC's affiliate program last month. Eaton's has operated a small tank truck company in eastern New York since 1979, providing primarily local services to a valued group of customers from Albany to Williamston, and extending from New Jersey to Massachusetts.
Tom Finkbiner, QC's president and CEO, said, "Each of QC's affiliate partners adds a unique, local niche to the QC network, and collectively, all the local niches add-up to the best volume density, and the best re-loadability potential in the tank truck industry.
Eaton's Trucking Service will help QC expand its reach, and QC will help Jeff Eaton's ability to maximize his equipment and driver productivity."
Jeff Eaton expects to double the number of drivers he runs during the first year. "QC's willingness to provide me with additional trailers, combined with my existing customer relationships, will stimulate immediate growth here in my immediate geographic area. Plus, when my vehicles operate in the longer haul lanes, QC's huge network of affiliates and company terminals will enhance my revenues and driver satisfaction."
Quality Distribution, LLC operates about 3,200 tractors and 7,700 trailers through three principal transportation subsidiaries: Quality Carriers, TransPlastics and Quebec-based Levy Transport.
