Stevens Transport, Dallas, Tex., has just completed delivery of 650 new Utility 3000R insulated trailers, each complemented by Thermo King's new SB190 refrigeration units.
In addition to the equipment received this year, Stevens has placed an additional order for 600 new trailers and units for calendar year 2003.
"We selected the new Thermo King SB190 as an upgrade over our previous work horse, the SBIIISR, which served us well," said Todd S. Aaron, senior vice president and a director of Stevens Transport.
SB190s will offer Stevens' customers the latest in refrigeration technology, quieter running engines and driver-friendly controls. These refrigeration units feature a new modern age appearance with matching color coordination to the Stevens company fleet colors.
