Ryder To Use OptiBid for Truckload Contracts

Ryder System Inc., Miami, Fla., will selectively implement OptiBid software to establish truckload contracts for its logistics customers.

OptiBid is an Internet-resident procurement provided by Logistics.com, Burlington, Mass. According to the announcement from Logistics.com, Ryder plans to expand use of OptiBid to LTL and other transportation modes, including air and ocean.
