TransCore has expanded its Truckstop Network to travel plazas along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, marking the first time TransCore's DAT load and information monitors will be available in non-truckstop locations.

Ten travel plazas have already been added to TransCore's Truckstop Network, with all 33 Turnpike service plazas to be included by the end of 2002. In addition to a TransCore's DAT Load and Information monitor, each plaza will offer local, regional and national weather updates, industry news and information about career opportunities.
"With the increase in shipment volumes, freight providers are continually searching for additional outlets through which they can conduct business," said Joel McGinley, TransCore Commercial Services' general manager. "By adding locations to our Truckstop Network that our customers could not previously reach, TransCore is providing new outlets for brokers and owner-operators to conduct business."
