Stonier Transportation Group, Jacksonville, Fla., is offering a new payment program designed to accelerate cash flow for its motor carriers.
Stonier¹s Fast Pay Program offers motor carriers who move freight for Stonier the opportunity to have their payments sent to them on the fifth business day after Stonier receives the carrier¹s invoice and proof of delivery for each load. This reduces the number of days substantially from Stonier’s standard payment term.
The Fast Pay program discounts the original invoice amount of the freight charges. When carriers sign up for Fast Pay, all future payments will be processed on the fifth day after documentation is presented. Carriers who do not participate in Fast Pay will see no change in their payment term.
Invoices and proofs of delivery will be accepted by facsimile. Carriers interested in the Fast Pay program will have access to a dedicated fax line to help expedite payment. The number is (904) 224-0054.
