The Truckload Carriers Association has announced its partnership with the Transportation Intermediaries Association as a partner organization in the P3 Program.

The Platinum Performance Program (P3), developed by TIA, is a best practices partnership of TIA and the trucking industry. Participants are known as P3 Partners and agree to adhere to a contractual list of best practices. These best practices establish a mutually agreed upon set of trading conditions between motor carriers and brokers/forwarders.
The P3 Program is open to broker and forwarder members of TIA and motor carrier members of TCA and other partner organizations. TCA joins with the Georgia Motor Trucking Association and the Minnesota Trucking Association as the first three motor carrier partner organizations.
"TIA is excited about the P3 initiative as a private sector adoption of a higher level of business between brokers/forwarders and motor carriers. TCA, GMTA, and MTA are leading the way for the trucking industry," said TIA Executive Director & CEO Robert A. Voltmann.
