Intra Technologies, Tukwila, Wash., has reached agreement with International Truck and Engine Corporation to catalog and distribute Intra products to International dealers.

Dealers will offer three aftermarket variations of Intra's Low-Voltage Disconnect (LVD) as well as Intra's Jump-Start Prevention Kit.
Intra's LVD allows truck drivers to enjoy the comfort of electrical appliances on the road while preserving enough battery power to start the engine. Using patented Intra power management technology, the LVD monitors battery levels, automatically disconnecting non-critical power loads when battery voltage reaches critical levels. According to Intra, the device significantly reduces the need for jumpstarts and extends the life of costly replacement items, such as starters and batteries.
The Intra Jump-Start Prevention Kit is designed for truck fleets and dealers with dormant or standing vehicles. Due to the electronics found on today's heavy-duty truck, it takes as little as a week for a parked vehicle to draw down its battery to the point that it cannot be started, according to Intra. The Jump-Start Prevention Kit can be easily disconnected and moved from truck to truck. It monitors battery levels and automatically disconnects power when battery voltage reaches a critical level.
