The UPS Contract Caravans are leading rallies at local unions and engaging members in the contract campaign on their way to Las Vegas for the Teamsters Unity Conference and Special Convention. The contract expires July 31; more than 210,000 Teamsters are affected.
There are two caravans. The first appearances were in Louisville, Ky., Wednesday and Kansas City, Mo., Thursday. Appearances are scheduled for Seattle Friday; Lakeside, Colo., and Sacramento, Calif., Saturday; Ontario, Calif., on Monday; and Las Vegas Wednesday, May 1.
