Gasel Transportation Lines, a truckload motor carrier based in Marietta, Ohio, is installing the Aether MobileMax2 wireless communications system for its fleet of 120 trucks.
Ohio Carrier Chooses MobileMax2

Gasel Transportation Lines, which specializes in hauling temperature-controlled commodities, dry freight and hazardous materials across the United States and Canada, plans to complete the installation of the MobileMax2 system across its fleet by the end of the year.
Aether MobileMax2 uses a dual-mode modem that automatically switches between terrestrial (land-based) and satellite communication pathways without driver or dispatcher intervention. The MobileMax2 data terminal transmits data messages and GPS position reports over both satellite and terrestrial communication pathways and provides data on vehicle fault codes and driver performance.
"The nature of our business demands that we stay in close contact with our drivers and fleet," said Michael Post, President, Gasel Transportation Lines. "The MobileMax2 solution provides the coverage we need and enhances our ability to maximize the productivity of our entire operation."
