Forty-eight nominations from around the country have been received for this year’s National Trailer Dealer of the Year award.
The annual award recognizes the nation's outstanding heavy duty trailer dealers whose leadership, professionalism and integrity have most enhanced their companies, industry and community.
CitiCapital (the combined operations of the former Associates and CitiCorp Global Equipment Finance) and the National Trailer Dealers Assn. jointly developed the award and are its co-sponsors.
The nominations are being are evaluated by a panel of industry representatives, which includes Truck Sales & Leasing Publisher David A. Kolman. The announcement of the finalists is expected shortly. The winner will be chosen from these finalists.
Presentation of this year’s awards will be done at an awards banquet during the NTDA’s Annual Convention, Sept. 26-29, in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Winner of the inaugural National Trailer Dealer of the Year award, presented at NTDA’s 2000 convention in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., was Stanley R. Zeamer, president/owner of Utility/Keystone Trailer Sales, Manheim, Pa.
