Three finalists have been selected for this year’s National Trailer Dealer of the Year award.
They are: Scott D. Lamb, president, Atlantic Great Dane, South Portland, Maine; Thomas R. Leuner, president, Southern Tier Equipment Corp. (Northeast Great Dane), Hillsborough, N.J.; and Jeff Smith, president, Utility Tri-State in Tulsa, Okla.
The annual award recognizes outstanding heavy duty trailer dealers whose leadership, professionalism and integrity have most enhanced their companies, industry and community.
CitiCapital (the combined operations of the former Associates and CitiCorp Global Equipment Finance) and the National Trailer Dealers Assn. jointly developed the award and are its co-sponsors.
The three finalists were culled from a field of 48 nominations from around the country by a five-person panel of industry representatives. Newport Communications’ David A. Kolman, publisher of Truck Sales & Leasing magazine, served on that selection committee.
Presentation of this year’s awards will be during an awards banquet during the NTDA’s Annual Convention, Sept. 26-29 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
