Paccar is increasing the build rates at some of its manufacturing plants in the coming weeks.

The company plans to increase the Class 8 truck production build rate of its Peterbilt division by 8%, effective July 16. It will also be increasing the build rate of its Class 6/7 trucks manufactured at its Ste. Therese, Quebec, facility by 22%, effective
August 6.
Mark Pigott, Paccar chairman and CEO, said "The build rate increases reflect increasing customer demand for our
industry-leading products. Kenworth and Peterbilt medium-duty conventionals have earned the J.D. Power and Associates' top
honor for the last two years. Kenworth and Peterbilt Class 8 trucks continue to have the highest resale values in North America, which is especially important to our customers during the industry slowdown."
Pigott said Paccar was strongly positioned for further growth when the North American truck market returns to normal sales levels.
