DAT Services Parent Acquires Link Logistics
TransCore Commercial Services includes DAT Services, the largest and oldest freight-matching operation in North America.
According to TransCore, the acquisition will provide a single service to expedite cross-border trucking transportation between the United States and Canada.
Link Logistics offers approximately 30,000 listings of loads and trucks daily; TransCore’s DAT Services processes more than 80,000 Internet trading sessions daily.
According to TransCore’s announcement, the deal caps a three-year arrangement in which DAT Services and Link Logistics collaborated on cross-border freight information when they were independently owned companies.
