PeopleNet Communications of Minneapolis announced that Dana/Suttles Transport has installed PeopleNet's Fleet Management tracking and communications system in its 700-vehicle fleet.
The Fleet Management system features precise GPS locating, mobile communications and web-based business management technology. It allows fleet managers, dispatchers and shippers to locate vehicles with pinpoint accuracy from anywhere there is an Internet connection using a web browser. The system can be used with handheld computers that run the Palm operating system. The Dana/Suttles fleet specializes in transporting chemicals and hazardous materials.
