Cummins Ships 100,000th RoadRelay Onboard Computer

Cummins Inc., Columbus, Ind., announced it has now sold 100,000 RoadRelay onboard computers in the heavy-duty trucking market.

RoadRelay 4 is an in- or on-dash-mounted unit, with a four-line display. While designed for Cummins electronic engines, RoadRelay 4 is compatible with other diesel engines.
By downloading trip, safety and route information from RoadRelay to related Cummins software packages, fleet managers can evaluate and compare vehicles, drivers and routes.
"The entire RoadRelay 4 package, now in its third year and fourth generation of production, has been continuously improved, with more features and value added with each new version," said Cliff Putterill, Cummins engine data information systems manager.
