Boyd Bros. Transportation has signed a multi-year outsource agreement with TripPak Online to manage document processing.

The fleet will use the latest imaging technology to replace a Lanier imaging system and streamline administrative processes that no longer rely on physical receipt and handling the paperwork generated with each delivered load. “This is certainly the end of paper as we know it,” said Gail B. Cooper, company president.
The TripPak stores and can retrieve any paper document while a commercial scanning operation works overnight to capture an image of every trip document. The system certifies electronic documents as a witness to the fact that each watermarked image is an original document and delivers an image that shippers accept as standing in the place of the original. The images will drive invoicing and payroll processes, as well as driver help desk and other functions within an optimized workflow environment that will service Boyd Bros. The company expects to dramatically reduce time delays in billing, improve invoice accuracy and capture additional revenue from assessorial charges that can be overlooked in the confusion of paper processing.
